Heralds of Change - Bopgunn (feat. Olivier Daysoul)

I have no idea how this collaboration slipped under the radar, but somehow Mike Slott and Hudson Mohawke have combined forces to make what is easily one of the most accessible “glitch” projects out there today. In many cases artists that fall under the glitch umbrella have never really caught my fancy, but somehow these guys seemed to have successfully gotten my proverbial toes wet. 

On this particular track, the duo gets a little bit of help from the soulful Olivier Daysoul. The glitchy, bass infused beat just gets smothered in some slick and smooth vocals. It’s the novelty of these two acts joining forces that initially hooks you, but it how they coalesce and work with each other that makes you come back for more.
