You! Fellow reader of this blog! You seem to have found your way to my humble little webpage where I write about music that happens to be tickling my eardrums right now. The stuff I post here may or may not be the freshest stuff that's kicking around, but I do my best to stay on top of new releases.

That being said, I hope you enjoy yourself. I'll do my best to keep things diverse here, but I'm a bit partial to electronic stuff and/or dope beats.

AraabMuzik - Streetz Tonight

Wow. AraabMuzik knows hows to make a killer tune. But what I wasn’t expecting was that said tune would be an electro/house jam with just the right percussion. This guy takes a surprisingly large sample from Kaskade’s “4 AM”, speeds it up, and mashes it with some skittering drums. Every so often he puts his foot on the gas and lets the beat build, only to abruptly cut everything back up and start off back where he started. The end result is a massive jam. All of this is even more surprising considering that AraabMuzik is a main contributor to the Dipset collective. But hey, I’m not one to turn down a killer tune when I hear one.
