Damn you summer. All of this great new music that I’ve been listening to recently and no motivation to write about it. But now that the weather isn’t exactly cooperating, I finally can catch up on a few things. One of which happens to be this magnificent project.
These guys previously got several different kinds of buzz when they first released “Go Outside” many moons ago. Now they’ve only honed their sound, and the result is the perfect merging of sun baked beach-pop and soulful 50’s girl groups. This track is a perfect example. Everything from the piano to the guitars to the “a-la-la-la-la”s all add up to one damn near perfect summer jam.
