Washed Out - Echoes

Oh hot damn. The chillwave making machine named Ernest Greene has worked his magic on a full length album. After listening to the entire album a few times, I’m impressed at how well this guy has done crafting a thoughtful, well conceived album in spite of many haters (after all, haters gonna hate). While it probably won’t charm any new converts into the church of chillwave, Washed Out has effectively proved that when done right, chillwave can be legit. 

That being said, this is just one of many fantastic cuts from this album. Repetitive synths wash over you, while Mr. Greene’s almost indecipherable voice takes you on a hazy journey through a long lost corner of the world. Turn on, tune in, and drop out broseph, and enjoy the ride.
