The stuff I post here may or may not be the freshest stuff that's kicking around, but I do my best to stay on top of new releases.

That being said, I hope you enjoy yourself. I'll do my best to keep things diverse here, but I'm a bit partial to electronic stuff and/or dope beats.

Simian Mobile Disco - Off The Map (feat. Jamie Lidell)

I’m sure many of you have heard of both the knob-twiddling techno wizards Simian Mobile Disco and the blue-eyed soul man Jamie Lidell in their separate capacities. But what took me off guard was how well these two forces combined to create a seamless yet oddly intriguing upbeat, futuristic love song. It blew my mind when it was first released back in 2009 and it’s still catchy as hell now. Not to mention it has one of my favorite lyrics: ”You can be space / I’ll be the invader”. With a line like that, how could you go wrong?
