Kings of Convenience - Weight Of My Words (Four Tet Remix)
I’ve been on a bit of a Four Tet binge recently, and this particular remix caught my eye. It starts out with his typical brand of distortion, and then seamlessly leads into Erland Oye’s subtle yet mesmerizing vocals. Throughout the entire song you can really see Four Tet putting his own distinct fingerprint everywhere. Even on the chorus, he chops up the vocals to create new sound that still maintains the vibe and energy of the original. Long story short, just about anything that Four Tet touches turns to gold. Including this.
